ITSS sponsors or co-sponsors several international conferences each year. Attending ITSS conferences allows you to stay current with cutting edge technical advances, meet and mingle with world-class researchers, and become acquainted with other cultures and locales. There is sure to be an ITSS conference that matches your interests.  Read the list below and considering attending now!  And don't forget to sign up for ITSS membership to enjoy discounted rates to all ITSS-sponsored events.

ITSS Conferences

Follow the links below for additional information on each ITSS conference:

  • ITSC:  IEEE International Conference on Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITSC) is the annual flagship conference of the IEEE Intelligent Transportation Systems Society. IEEE ITSC welcomes articles in the field of Intelligent Transportation Systems, conveying new developments in theory, analytical and numerical simulation and modeling, experimentation, advanced deployment and case studies, results of laboratory or field operational tests.

  • IV:  IEEE Intelligent Vehicles Symposium (IV) is the premier annual forum sponsored by the IEEE INTELLIGENT TRANSPORTATION SYSTEMS SOCIETY (ITSS). Researchers, academicians, practitioners, and students from universities, industry, and government agencies are invited to discuss research and applications for Intelligent Vehicles and Vehicle-Infrastructure Cooperation.

  • ASME/MESA:  IEEE/ASME International Conference on Mechatronic and Embedded Systems and Applications (MESA). Mechanical and electrical systems show an increasing integration of mechanics with electronics and information processing. This integra- tion is between the components (hardware) and the information-driven functions (software), resulting in integrated systems called mechatronic systems. The development of mechatronic systems involves finding an optimal balance between the basic mechanical structure, sensor and actuators, automatic digital information processing and control in which embedded systems play a key role.

  • SOLI:  IEEE International Conference on Service Operations and Logistics, and Informations (SOLI). Service science, service operations, logistics, and informatics are becoming ever more complex and interdependent. They are playing an increasingly important role in today’s world economy. Information and communications technology provides cyber-infrastructure and platforms to achieve more efficient and productive services operations. New types of service offerings are also emerging to meet the needs of customers and consumers.

  • FISTS:  IEEE Forum on Integrated and Sustainable Transportation System (FISTS). The Forum, sponsored jointly by four IEEE Societies — the Aerospace and Electronic Systems Society, the Intelligent Transportation Systems Society, the Oceanic Engineering Society, and the Vehicular Technology Society — offered provocative presentations, lively discussion, and visionary futures about sustainable transportation systems that create economic opportunity and improve access to basic human needs.

  • VNC:  IEEE Vehicular Networking Conference (VNC). Vehicular networking and communication systems is an area of significant importance in our increasingly connected and mobile world. Effective vehicular connectivity techniques can significantly enhance efficiency of travel, reduce traffic incidents and improve safety, mitigate the impact of congestion, and overall provide a more comfortable experience.

  • ICCVE:  International Conference on Connected Vehicles & Expo (ICCVE). The conference serves as a premier platform that gathers all the relevant communities and domains together. Experts, practitioners and policy makers from all around the world will present the latest innovations and advances on connected vehicles, share the experience and insights, forecast the trends and opportunities, and discuss the policy, economics and social implications.

Technically Co-Sponsored

  • UV:  The International Conference on Universal Village (UV). The conference explores systematic methodologies for improving the quality of life by advancing the technology of the Universal Village and its major subsystems, including intelligent health care, intelligent transportation, intelligent environment, intelligent energy management, and protection of the environment.
